130th Anniversary Celebrations

The year 2006 marked the 130th Anniversary of the battle of the Little Bighorn and once again I had the opportunity to be present. The main commemoration took place on Sunday 25th June but as usual the weekend was packed with events at the battlefield and surrounding areas. The photographs below are a selection that were taken during the memorial service where tributes were paid to the many brave men on both sides who fought and died on that hot June day 130 years ago.
